Linda started to dance for The Bowler Academy at the age of 12. As a complete beginner it would have been considered then too late to take Irish Dance up as a hobby, but against all odds Linda attended 7 classes a week to prove her passion and perseverance in Irish Dancing would pay off.
Under two years Linda won her first her first Championship becoming the then The London Champion.
After winning a succession of Championships Linda qualified at The Southern Regional Championships in first position to go on to compete at The World Championships where she was placed in fourth position, the following years Linda won again many Cups, ranking again in fourth position at the World Championships.
By joining Teams in both Ceili & Choreography Linda yet again achieved great success by again competing at World Championship Levels, in fact it was truly a blessing that Linda was given good foundations in Irish Dancing as it enabled her later to teach in all aspects of Irish Dance.
Linda continued to dance professionally at an early age following an injury that meant she could not train intensely for Solos. However, that did not stop her, unable to compete anymore, Linda danced and became a choreographer having learned all her skills from Nancy & Terry Bowler she went on to work professionally as a Dancer.
Working with The Chieftans, The Royal Ballet Company, Linda danced on numerous TV shows including; Opportunity Knocks, Magpie, Anything You Can Do? Blue Peter an many more. She made numerous theatre performances including; The Dominion Theatre, The Apollo Theatre & The Royal Albert Hall, in fact the opportunities given to Linda from Terry & Nancy were endless.
Linda went on to take her T.C.R.G. under The Bowler Academy. In time, after Linda was a fully qualified teacher Terry and Nancy semi-retired handing over established classes in Kent & in the South East.
